NFA Member Forum on Legislature and NSHE Budgets

NFA along with our national partners in the AAUP and AFT have been working to advocate for faculty here in Nevada and nationally. We’re just past the halfway point of Nevada’s legislative session and the Economic Forum is about to project the state budget limits for the coming biennium. Our lobbying team has kept a consistent presence in Carson City fighting for our benefits, full and equitable funding, and campus safety.

We invite you to an all-member NFA Zoom to give you updates on what the lobbying team has worked on, updates on the bills we’re advocating for, and answers to your questions about the rest of the session.
